Fort Sill is the home of the United States Army Field Artillery School and enjoys a very close relationship with Lawton. It houses many museums and points of interest that date back to the frontier days of the American West. The Old Post Quadrangle and the Apache warrior Geronimo's final resting place are but two examples of the rich history landmarks located at Fort Sill.

Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge
American bison, prairie dogs, elk, and long horn cattle are all found just a few minutes north of Lawton in the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge. With an extensive population of native plant and animal wildlife, the refuge is also home to the Holy City of the Wichitas, America's longest running Easter passion play.
