Academic Advising Center

Welcome to Cameron University’s Academic Advising Center, a central location for academic information and resources for students. We provide academic advising services to Cameron University freshmen, undecided, and new transfer students. We are committed to providing timely and accurate advice for students so they succeed academically.

As a new freshman or transfer student, you will be assigned an advisor based on the major you choose. You will also have a chance to meet and be advised by some of Cameron University’s faculty. These faculty are full-time instructors from the different majors who have dedicated time specifically to work with students in the Advisement Center.

Once you are ready to leave the Academic Advising Center, we will work with your major department to assist you as you transition to your departmental advisor.
