Group Exercise Classes

Group Fitness classes are a fun, motivating, and challenging way to fit exercise into your daily routine.

The patrons of the class are guided through the entire routine from beginning to end from a certified instructor. Classes are designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels and skills.

Class Descriptions

Circuit Blast- Jump from station to station for an intense calorie burning and strength training workout all in one! With our top of the line fitness equipment including BOSU balls, jump ropes, resistance bands, kettlebells, and so much more. We guarantee you will leave sweating, satisfied, and one step closer to your fitness goal.

Zumba- Combines high energy music from all over the world with easy to do dance moves in an effective workout that not only burns calories, but is also a ton of fun! Participants are invited to make up their own moves, to laugh, and more importantly to have fun while exercising.

Spin/Cycling- Indoor Cycling/Spin is a group exercise class done on stationary bikes. During the class the instructor simulates a ride. Together you travel on flat roads, climb hills, sprint, and race! It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular workout and class.

Slow Flow Yoga-This yoga class is slow, gentle movements and a variety of relaxation and meditation techniques. The class is designed for people who are healing, looking to destress or relax, and people looking to build calmness or meditate. Everyone is encouraged to bring your own mat, a towel, any props (blocks, straps, blankets, bolster, etc). This class normally will meet in the Shepler Center (Wichita Room).

Walking & Jogging-The Walking/Jogging class is designed to improve your cardiovascular endurance. The emphasis is on encouraging walking/jogging as a lifetime recreational activity and to improve health,emotional and social interaction.

 PIYO- Is a unique class designed to build strength & gain flexibility. The moves fit perfectly together to form a class filled with intense choreography that’s fun, challenging and will make you sweat. It’s about energy, power, and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength, and greater stability.

R.I.P.P.E.D.-Is a total body workout utilizing resistance and cardio training, combining Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet components into a routine that is enjoyable, accessible and highly effective. The constantly changing format of the R.I.P.P.E.D. workout ensures maximum results, with participants burning 750-1000 calories in a single 50-minute workout. By stimulating different energy systems and muscle groups in each segment, and mixing up the routine every few minutes, R.I.P.P.E.D. keeps your body guessing and improving, and keeps your mind engaged. R.I.P.P.E.D. is constantly challenging but never, ever boring.

ZUMBA Tone-Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast.

Turbo Kick- Is a combination of kickboxing moves, athletic moves, and lots of fun combinations all perfectly in tune to high energy and motivating music.  It's the ultimate cardiovascular challenge that's a unique blend of intense intervals, strength & endurance training, and a relaxing cool-down.  Turbo Kick requires no previous kickboxing experience or equipment.  You will find the right intensity for you.  All fitness levels are welcome to this class.  

Insanity-Don't get scared off by the name!  If you are looking to take it to the next level - this workout is for YOU!!  Insanity is an intense cardio-based program that will push you to your limits! Developed by a fitness expert with a background in collegiate track and field and elite personal trainer, Insanity is a conditioning program for your whole body that will raise the level of your workout exponentially
