OK Ethics Luncheon
School of Business Hosts OK Ethics Luncheon
The School of Business is pleased to collaborate with the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium (OK Ethics) to host a live broadcast of the organization’s monthly forum, which features presentations on business ethics.
The OK Ethics' initiative began in 2003 when a group of six individuals met to discuss ethical challenges in the workplace and decided that there was a need to share positive examples of business conduct. Since then, OK Ethics has grown to nearly 900 members representing over 200 companies, primarily in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. OK Ethics also promotes student ethics chapters and initiatives on 13 campuses as well as sponsor an annual Statewide Student Ethics Challenge.
The first event, “Spiritual Intelligence: Leadership Edge,” features Gael O’Brien, ethics columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine, and is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at 11:30am. Cameron’s live-stream of the event, which originates in Oklahoma City, takes place in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex. Registration is $25, which includes lunch. Pre-registration is required at www.okethics.org.
