Cameron Gold Scholarship - Qualifications




To qualify for the scholarship students must complete ALL of the steps below by APRIL 1, 2012:

  1. Apply for admission to Cameron University.
  2. Submit a scholarship application to the Office of Admissions. 
  3. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Office of Financial Assistance. (Student must provide additional documentation if requested from the Office of Financial Assistance.)
  4. Be admitted as a first semester incoming freshman at Cameron for the Fall 2012 semester.
  5. Be eligible for and receive Oklahoma's Promise funding.


To continue to receive the scholarship students must take the following steps each year:

  1. Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of course work during each fall and spring semester.
  2. Meet university academic standards for retention.
  3. Submit a completed FAFSA no later than April 1 each year to the Office of Financial Assistance.  (Student must provide additional documentation if requested from the Office of Financial Assistance.)
  4. Submit a completed scholarship application no later than April 1 each year to the Office of Financial Assistance.
  5. Remain eligible for and receive Oklahoma's Promise funding.
