Radio/TV Activities


Students at Cameron have the opportunity to gain basic television experience by participating in CUTV. CUTV is a Cameron campus television channel. Communication professors Steve Adams and Matt Jenkins supervise CUTV's programming which consist of a weekly news show, sports show, news briefs, an announcement scroll board, and a weekly show featuring Student Government activities.

Any Cameron student can participate in CUTV. Students do everything from gathering news, writing news scripts, being a part of the video production team, operating graphics generator, and editing. Students can also earn college credit from their work with CUTV.


KCCU is a listener-supported public radio station serving southwest and south central Oklahoma. Areas covered by KCCU are Lawton/Ft. Sill, Ardmore, Duncan, and Altus. KCCU is an affiliate of National Public Radio. Cameron students have the opportunity to work at KCCU as a volunteer or earn Broadcast Lab college credit.
