CU Be SMART is a program providing information, resources, support, and encouragement for students with children.  Making Cameron more family friendly for student parents will help provide incentive to stay in college and complete a degree program.  SMART Academy workshops and Kids' College activities help students attend workshops and activities.

Future activities are in the planning stage at this time. 

SMART Academy is a series of workshops covering topics relevant to student parents, including:

• Developing study habits for college success
• Tips for test taking
• Time management
• Stress management
• Finances
• Career planning
• Resume writing
• Computer literacy
• Nutrition/meal planning
• Parenting classes
