The Cameron University chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, an international fraternity for business majors, was officially chartered during a recent ceremony which also saw the induction of 27 students as founding members. Cameron’s Sigma Chi chapter grew out of the Alpha Eta Omega Colony, established in February 2012 when 20 business students signed a letter of intent. After meeting the pre-requisites of community service projects, professional activities, sponsored events, and number of members, the colony submitted a petition to charter a collegiate chapter, which was approved by the Delta Sigma Pi National Board of Directors. Dr. Roxanne Gooch, Associate Professor of Accounting, serves as the chapter’s faculty advisor.
