In observance of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, Cameron University continues its partnership with the national It’s On Us Campaign to bring awareness, educate and challenge the community to take action in standing up against sexual assault. This year’s theme, “Ownership, Understanding and Application through the Arts,” will be highlighted on Wednesday, April 18, during a community event featuring an Art Gala as well as a return visit from Dr. Kimberly Dickman, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Analyst for the U.S. Air Force Academy. Dickman spoke at CU’s inaugural It’s On Us event in 2017. The event will start at 7 p.m. and will take place in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex. There is no charge to attend. Due to limited seating, tickets must be reserved in advance at www.cameron.edu/itsonusaggies/reservations. For more information, call 580-581-2209.
