The mission of the CU-Duncan Tutoring/Testing Center is to support student retention and help students actively and confidently achieve academic success.
Tutoring Lab
The Tutoring Lab offers free tutoring services to students needing assistance in math and English. Math tutoring is available during each semester session on the following days and times without appointment:
Math Tutoring Hours (Tutor: Thomas Knight)
Monday - Thursday
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Tutoring Lab also offers tutoring in English Composition on the following days and times. Appointments preferred; walk-ins welcome.
English Tutoring Hours (Tutor: Jordan Grooms)
Monday & Wednesday
11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday
2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The Testing Lab offers exam proctoring services for online/on-site courses, initial course placement (through CPTs), and Residual ACTs. The Testing Lab is committed to maintaining the highest compliance with nationally recognized professional testing standards and practices, safeguarding confidentiality of student records, and creating an optimal testing environment.
Appointments are required for exam proctoring services and can be scheduled by contacting the CU-Duncan office at 1-877-282-3626 / 580-255-7566.
Computerized Placement Test (CPT)
In addition to online class exams, the Testing Lab administers Accuplacer Computerized Placement Tests (CPT) for English, reading, and math for admission to Cameron University.
Residual ACT
The Residual ACT is provided each semester usually on the fourth Friday of each month. Reservations are required and can be scheduled by contacting the CU-Duncan office at 1-877-282-3626 / 580-255-7566.
