Student Advisement Session

Arrive for your scheduled appointment in the Academic Advising Center 10-15 minutes early to check in.

The Academic Advising Center is located on the first floor of North Shepler.

During your advisement session, your advisor will go over important information related to being a student at Cameron, visit with you about your educational goals and work with you to select and enroll in courses for your first semester.

New Aggie Parent Session

Parents and family members are welcome to attend Aggie Enrollment Day with their student. In fact, we have a program specifically designed for parents and family members.

The New Aggie Parent Lounge is staffed with CU representatives to provide parents with valuable resources for helping support students as they transition to college life and to answer any questions. In addition, a financial aid representative will also be available to answer financial aid and scholarship related questions.

Family members will not be with students during the enrollment appointment. Your student's independence during the initial advising appointment is extremely important to his or her collegiate experience. Consider looking at the online class schedule with your student prior to the appointment.

We also strongly encourage you to discuss the schedule with your student after the enrollment and advising appointment. If, following the enrollment appointment, the family and student discuss the class schedule and want to make changes, the student may simply contact the Academic Advising Center and they will assist with making schedule changes.
