Attending or eligible to attend an Oklahoma 4 year college or university and need financial assistance.

The Fern Brown Memorial Fund Scholarship

Established by the Living Trust Agreement of Fern Brown, and administered by Bank One (formerly Liberty Bank and Trust Company of Tulsa), this scholarship program was created to provide financial assistance for the education of students who have demonstrated above average aptitude for college and university work and who, in the absence of aid from this scholarship, might be unable financially to pursue a college or university education.

To be eligible a student

• Must complete the application procedure. 
• Must be a continuing student OR be admissible to a four-year college or university (public or private) in the state of Oklahoma.
• Must demonstrate above average aptitude for college work.
• Must need financial assistance to pursue her or his college education.

Scholarship recipients may submit renewal applications subject to the Committee's consideration of academic progress and continued need. Each senior college or university in Oklahoma may submit ONE applicant as their institution's representative in the scholarship competition.

Completed applications must be submitted by APRIL 1 to the Financial Assistance at the college or university the applicant plans to attend.
