Keynote Speaker

Richard Herrera joined the Arizona State University faculty in 1989. He received his BA and MA from St. Mary's University and his PhD from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Professor Herrera has contributed articles to the American Political Science ReviewJournal of Politics, Legislative Studies Quarterly, and Public Opinion Quarterly. His current research interests are focused on U.S. Governors, their ideology, policy agendas, and representative functions. He currently also serves as Associate Director, School of Politics and Global Studies, Director, Capital Scholars Program, and University Coordinator, ASU-McCain Institute Internship Program.


Lunch Speaker

Susan Gooden is a Professor of Public Administration and Policy and Executive Director of the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She has published books, scholarly articles, book chapters and technical reports in the areas of social equity, welfare policy and post-secondary education. Gooden has conducted several research studies for MDRC, as well as other national research organizations. She is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration, a congressionally chartered academy, and is President-elect of the American Society for Public Administration, the largest and most prominent professional association for public administration.

Welcome to this year's Oklahoma Political Science Association annual meeting registration. To register online for the conference, please click Online Conference Registration. The deadline for conference registration is October 28, 2015. Students from the following institutions of higher education pay no registration fee to attend the conference.
