Founded in the 2012 fall semester, the Cameron University Honors Students Society is open to all Honors Students. Recognized during Convocation, this society plans and coordinates activities across campus and within the community throughout the semester. To plan new activities, we strongly encourage you to join this Honors Society. |
Honors Student Orientation
Each fall and spring semester, the Office of Academic Enrichment invites all honors students for a general Honors Program Students Orientation. This orientation provides an opportunity to meet fellow honors students, learn about upcoming honors classes, and get enrollment advice.
New Activities
2013 Mind Games
The college Mind Games is a prime time television program that made it's debut on KSBI TV in the fall of 2011. The program brings together teams of students from Oklahoma colleges and universities in a weekly battle of the brains including students from Cameron University.
During the competition students will be competing for thousands of dollars in scholarship money! The format is similar to athletic tournament brackets with teams competing over the fall and spring semester. The team winning the fall competition will compete against the team winning the spring competition for the title Grand Champion and honor of being the best Mind Games school of the year.
