Business Building

The state-of-the-art Business Building opened in Fall 2009, occupying more than 32,000 gross square feet. Highlights of the facility include a 114-seat auditorium, computer and accounting labs, a finance lab with a real-time stock ticker, interaction areas where students can collaborate with other students and faculty, and a career center which holds an interview practice area. The $8.7 million project was funded primarily by the Higher Education Act of 2005.

The building also houses a Career Services office available to all students and alumni. A division of the Office of Student Development, Career Services assists students in achieving their career goals.

In addition, the office includes an employer relations coordinator who works with area businesses to secure internships for students, offers job placement assistance, and more.
