Cameron University Military Science Department to hold blood drive

Cameron University's Military Science department will hold a Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 21 in Room 209 of Burch Hall on the CU campus. The drive will start at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Members of the Lawton/Fort Sill community are welcome to participate by donating blood. Parties wishing to participate should call Dianne Crage at 581-2340 to reserve a spot on the schedule. Donors need to bring a valid photo I.D.

Why give blood?

Giving blood literally means giving a part of yourself to aid others in your community. It also serves the needs of local patients and hospitals.  By giving blood you are truly making a difference.

Becoming a blood donor is a rare opportunity to realize the hero that lives in us all, to make a difference between life and death.  A patient needs blood every two seconds.

There is a chance that a member of your family or someone you know could need the support of volunteer blood donors. Remember, giving blood will be helping to make sure that whenever someone calls out for blood, their call will be answered.
