The next Cameron University Business Forum will focus on the 2008 Presidential Election with a discussion of the economic issues and programs as envisioned by Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama. Jed Green, State Campaign Director for Obama for America and Vice President of Membership for the Young Democrats of Oklahoma, and Gary Jones, Chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party, will be the featured guests. The Business Forum, presented by CU's Business Research Center (BRC) and the Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES), takes place on Wednesday, October 22 at 11 a.m. in the Centennial Room at the Shepler Center. The business forum is open to the public at no charge.

"The current economic crisis makes this Presidential election more critical than ever before," says Dr. Syed Ahmed, Director of the Business Research Center and Professor of Economics. "It is crucial that citizens understand the economic proposals of each of the candidates before heading to the polls. We are pleased to present representatives from the Democratic and Republican parties for what will surely be an interesting and informational discussion."
