Enrollment is still open for the Fall 2009 semester at Cameron University, and extended enrollment hours are available for students who are unable to enroll during normal business hours. Students have the opportunity to apply for admissions, enroll in classes, get financial aid help and more from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.15 and from 5 - 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug.17 and Tuesday, Aug.18. Classes start on Wednesday, Aug.19; enrollment is available through Wednesday, Aug.26.
"Cameron University wants to meet the needs of all its students," said Jamie Glover, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. "We realize that some students may be unable to enroll during normal business hours due to work schedules or other obligations, so we are providing additional enrollment periods."
An advisor will be available in the Office of Admissions to advise and enroll students during these extended hours. For times outside the extended hours, full-time students wishing to enroll for the fall semester may do so by appointment with an advisor. Part-time students are encouraged to visit with a faculty advisor before enrolling and may enroll at the enrollment desk, located on the second floor of North Shepler.
CU's admissions, registrar, financial aid offices and One Stop will be open during extended enrollment to assist students.
On Saturday, Aug.15, the bookstore will also be open from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. to allow students to purchase books and supplies for the fall 2009 semester.
