Cameron University's Office of Student Development will host the second annual Part-Time Job Fair on Thursday, September 24 in the Shepler Ballroom from 2-4 p.m. More than 25 local businesses will be on site to recruit and possibly hire CU students who can help meet their part-time needs. Students interested in attending the job fair should bring copies of their resume and a list of personal references. Employers may elect to conduct interviews on site, so students are advised to dress appropriately.
"The Part-Time Job Fair is a prime opportunity for Cameron students to find part-time jobs with employers who are willing to work around class schedules," says Dr. Jennifer Pruchnicki, Director of Student Development. "The job fair allows us to facilitate a ‘win-win' experience for both area businesses and CU students. "
Students seeking assistance in preparing for the job fair are encouraged to contact CU's Office of Student Development, which hosts an Open Help Hour at the Career Resource Center, located in North Shepler 311, each Thursday at 3 p.m. During Open Help Hour, students receive assistance in preparing resumes, interview skills, what to wear and more.
CU's Office of Student Development can be reached at 581-2209.
