Cloud computing, agile systems and embedded systems are just a sampling of topics that have been discussed at Cameron University's monthly Tech Night, sponsored by the Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) and held the third Tuesday of each month. The next installment of the series takes place on Tuesday, October 20 from 6 - 9 p.m. in CETES Room 207. Tech Night is free and open to any individual excited by or working in technology. Refreshments will be provided. To learn more about Tech Night or to RSVP, go to http://www.cetes.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=31&Itemid=76.
"Tech Night continues to grow," says Arun Tilak, Director of CETES. "At one session, a project was suggested by one of our participants, and team members are being sought to begin implementation. This is a superb networking event that offers opportunities for creativity, education and professional development."
CETES is located on the west side of the Cameron campus. From 38th Street, follow C Avenue to the three-way stop, then turn left (north) and proceed to CETES.
