Enrollment is still open for the Fall 2010 semester at Cameron University, and extended enrollment hours are available for students who are unable to enroll during normal business hours. Students have the opportunity to apply for admissions, enroll in classes, get financial aid help and more from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.14 and from 5 – 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug.16, Tuesday, Aug.17 and Wednesday, Aug. 18. Classes start on Wednesday, Aug.18; enrollment is available through Wednesday, Aug.25.
“Cameron University is happy to provide extended enrollment hours in order to facilitate enrollment for students who are unable to enroll during normal business hours,” says Jamie Glover, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management.
An advisor will be available in the Office of Admissions to advise and enroll students during these extended hours. CU’s admissions, registrar, financial aid offices and One Stop will be open during extended enrollment to assist students.
For times outside the extended hours, full-time students wishing to enroll for the fall semester may do so by appointment with an advisor. Part-time students are encouraged to visit with a faculty advisor before enrolling and may enroll at the enrollment desk, located on the second floor of North Shepler.
On Saturday, Aug.14, the bookstore will also be open from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. to allow students to purchase books and supplies for the Fall 2010 semester. Bookstore hours for Monday, Aug. 16, and Tuesday, Aug. 17 will be 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; for Wednesday, Aug. 18 and Thur. Aug. 19, from 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 20, 7;30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Aug. 21, 8 a.m. – Noon. Students may also place prepaid orders for shipping or in-store pickup through the Cameron bookstore’s website.
