Cameron University invites all high school seniors to attend Senior Enrollment Day on Saturday, March 27 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the University Theatre on CU's main campus in Lawton. Senior Enrollment Day provides students who have already applied to CU an opportunity to enroll early and receive assistance selecting classes as incoming freshmen.
"Senior Enrollment Day is the wonderful opportunity for new students to receive advisement and complete their enrollment for the summer and fall terms," says Jamie Glover, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. "We set this day aside each year to help our upcoming high school graduates get their college enrollment taken care of early."
The day will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. followed by an informative session at 9 a.m. detailing the process of enrolling and how to make the freshman year a success. Beginning around 10 a.m., students will meet with an academic advisor in the department of their major and enroll in their courses.
Students who plan to attend the event should apply for admission prior to March 24. Along with the application for admission, students need to submit a $15 application fee, a seven semester high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores. Applications are available online at www.cameron.edu, in the counselors' office at area high schools, on the second floor of North Shepler on Cameron's main campus in Lawton and at Cameron University-Duncan.
