Cameron University launches Speakers Bureau

Looking for a speaker for your organization, club or classroom? The Cameron University Speakers Bureau can help. Comprised of a diverse selection of faculty and staff who can speak on a wide range of topics, the CU Speakers Bureau is a community service made possible by volunteer speakers who provide dynamic presentations on topics ranging from aging to ethics, films to nutrition, poetry to web conferencing and more.

“Cameron University is pleased to offer the expertise of its faculty and staff for public presentations,” says Dr. John McArthur, Provost. “This new outreach program allows Cameron to remain engaged in communities throughout southwest Oklahoma and beyond.”

Speakers can be arranged for professional, community, and civic organizations. Requests should be submitted at least three weeks in advance of the event date. There is no fee to request a speaker through the Cameron University Speakers Bureau.

If a speaker is available, the requesting group will be put directly in touch with that person to make final arrangements. An honorarium may be requested by a speaker, and that fee is determined by the speaker.  Travel reimbursement and/or any honorarium should be arranged directly with the speaker.
