Two Cameron University agriculture students have been awarded scholarships by Oklahoma Garden Clubs, Inc. Sophomore Elizabeth Krause and junior Courtney Landoll, both of Lawton, were each awarded scholarships totaling $1,100.
The students received their scholarship awards during Oklahoma Garden Clubs’ Southwest District Spring Convention on April 21. Krause received a Beth Robards Scholarship in the amount of $500 and a $600 Loyce Anderson Scholarship. Landoll received a Loyce Anderson Scholarship in the amount of $1,100.
Oklahoma Garden Clubs, Inc., a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., awards scholarships each year to college students in Oklahoma who are studying conservation, plant sciences, horticulture, floriculture, zoology or forestry.
