Cameron University has launched iCameron, a free mobile application that will enable students, faculty, staff and community members to stay connected to Cameron via Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Features of iCameron include News, which offers links to university media releases, Cameron Athletics and the student-run convergence media website AggieCentral.com; campus events including home games; a faculty/staff directory; an interactive map of the Cameron campus; an image library; emergency and non-emergency numbers; Blackboard’s Mobile Learn; access to the Cameron University Library; Aggie traditions; and AggieAccess, the university’s in-house information portal.
"The launch of iCameron will provide Cameron students and the surrounding community with a new way to stay connected to CU,” says Cameron University President Cindy Ross. “The development of this application reflects both the university’s commitment to technology and our commitment to engaging the community in a variety of formats.”
The mobile application is free. To download iCameron, go to the App Store, the Android Market or the BlackBerry App World and search “iCameron” or use the links below.
