The Center for Emerging Technologies and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) located at Cameron University presents Tech Night on Tuesday, September 17, from 6-9 p.m. This month’s presentation features Craig Martin of Newline Interactive, who will provide a demonstration of the TruTouch hardware and IdeaMax Whiteboard Software that is now available in the conference room at CETES. Video-conferencing and Newline’s Wireless Module (W.I.P.S.) will also be demonstrated. The session will take place in Room 207 at CETES and will include a Q&A session as well as a hands-on opportunity during which attendees can try the TruTouch. Tech Night is open to the public at no charge.
“CETES is pleased to offer this demonstration to the Lawton-Fort Sill community,” says Arun Tilak, Director. “I hope to encourage business leaders and community organizations to utilize this technology at CETES. It increases productivity and allows for more effective meetings and presentations to participants who are present or even at remote locations with Internet connectivity.”
Newline’s TruTouch 650 Full-HD Multi-Touchscreen LCD was named the 2012 Production Innovation of the Year by the North American Office Productions Association. Essentially, one TruTouch system replaces a whiteboard, writing pad, video conferencing and projector setup. The accompanying IdeaMax Whiteboard Software requires very little training and does not use any proprietary software.
