Cameron University will host four specialized 2014 Spring Preview Days for high school students, each focusing on one of Cameron’s academic schools. Spring Preview Days will take place on Friday, February 21 – School of Education and Behavioral Sciences; Friday, February 28 – School of Business; Friday, March 7 – School of Liberal Arts; and Friday, March 14, School of Science and Technology. Each event will start at 9 a.m. in Cynthia S. Ross Hall, Room 111.
“We are focusing each of the four Spring Preview Days on one of the academic schools so that prospective students can get an in-depth look at Cameron’s academic programs,” says Jamie Glover, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. “Each preview day will provide high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn about Cameron University. In addition to learning about the academic programs, they will learn about admission, financial assistance, scholarships and more.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the entire campus, learn about the university’s extensive student services and discover opportunities for campus involvement. As an added benefit, the application fee will be waived for students who apply for admission during one of the Spring Preview Days.
Students who are undecided about a major are welcome to attend any of the Spring Preview Days. Students may attend more than one as it may be helpful to them in determining what academic program they may want to pursue.
