The Cameron University Alumni Association is sponsoring a CU ROCKS Homecoming Coloring Contest, a chance for students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community to let their inner rock star shine through as they create a one-of-a-kind “CU Rocks: Homecoming 2014” coloring sheet. The contest is open to all ages in the following categories: 3 years old and under; 4 to 7 years old; 8 to 12 years old; 13 years old and up; current Cameron students; and current Cameron faculty and staff. Entries must be submitted on the official coloring sheet by Friday, February 21. Coloring sheets and rules can be obtained by calling the Cameron Office of Alumni Relations at 581-2988.
“The coloring contest is a new avenue for our community to participate in Cameron’s annual Homecoming activities,” says Jennifer McGrail, Director of Alumni Relations. “We are looking forward to seeing the creativity that exists in our community and on campus. This is the beginning of another great Cameron homecoming tradition.”
Entries will be judged age appropriately on neatness, creativity and originality. One winner will be chosen from each category. Winners will receive a special CU prize. The winning entries will be displayed at various homecoming events and will also be posted on Cameron’s Homecoming website, www.cameron.edu/homecoming.
