Cameron University students inducted into Phi Alpha Theta history honor society

Cameron University’s Department of Social Sciences recently hosted an induction ceremony for CU’s Alpha Alpha Kappa Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. The national history honor society promotes the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians.

Undergraduates must have complete a minimum of 12 semester hours in history, achieve a minimum GPA of 3.1 in history and a GPA of 3.0 or better overall. Membership is not limited to history majors.
