Cameron University PLUS students collecting items for CCMH Starlight Foundation

A group of Cameron University Presidential Leadership & University Scholars (PLUS) are hosting a donation drive to benefit the Starlight Foundation at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Beginning on Friday, March 17, donation drop-off boxes will be placed on the CU campus in Nance Boyer and the Art Building. A donation drop-off box will also be placed in the Lawton Public Library. The drive will continue through Thursday, March 23.

Items needed are children’s books (new or gently used), puzzles and new art supplies. All donations will be given to the Starlight Foundation and will subsequently be distributed to children who have been admitted to the hospital.

CU’s PLUS scholarship is a four-year leadership program during which PLUS scholars participate in a variety of community service projects. The donation drive is sponsored by a group of second-year PLUS students.
