Cameron University’s Education Graduate Preview Night will focus on graduate degrees in education

The Cameron University Department of Education will host a Graduate Preview Night to provide information regarding the Master’s degree programs available in education. The event is scheduled for Monday, April 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the CETES Conference Center. Parking is available in front of the building. There is no charge to attend. Registration is requested; call 580-581-2320 to pre-register.

Cameron offers three education-related graduate degrees: a Master of Education in Education with concentrations in Teaching and Learning (geared for alternatively certified teachers), Literacy, and Special Education; a Master of Education in Reading, which leads to certification as a Reading Specialist; and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, which leads to certification as a school principal.  Graduate Preview Night will provide information about all three programs as well as the admissions process and course offerings for the summer and fall semesters.

“A graduate degree in education is an excellent learning opportunity and a great value,” says Dr. Jennifer Dennis, Chair, Department of Education. “It allows potential educators as well as those already in the field to grow professionally and increase lifetime earnings.”
