The Cameron University Department of Education recently celebrated the accomplishments its students with awards.
Alexandra Cunningham, Lawton; Melissa Fourroux, Altus, and Renea Lawler, Duncan; were named Student of the Year in their respective master’s programs. Cunningham has earned Master of Education in Reading, Fourroux has completed a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and Lawler has earned a Master of Education in Education.
Undergraduates in the department’s Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education programs were also honored.
Kimberly McIsaac and Mary Kinnamore, both of Lawton, received the award for Most Caring Student.
Academic Achievement Awards were presented to Kristin Ortega-Archey, Cache, Angela Burke, Lawton, and Megan Heinrich, Duncan.
Rebekah Bowers, and Kim Ellsworth, both of Lawton, and Angelica Ortiz, Hollis, were recognized with the Most Committed Student Award.
