Cameron University begins early course registration for Summer and Fall 2018 semesters on March 27

Priority registration for the Summer and Fall 2018 semesters at Cameron University begins on Tuesday, March 27. On that day, graduate students, seniors and Honors program students can officially register for classes. Priority registration continues on Wednesday, March 28 for juniors; Thursday, March 29 for sophomores; and Friday, March 30 for freshmen. All students may register for courses beginning Monday, April 2.

“As a college student, I remember needing to get class times that fit my life”, said Jerrett Phillips, VP for Enrollment Management and Student Success.  “My advice to all Cameron students is to participate in priority registration and secure the classes they need before the current semester ends.”  He recommends an “enroll before you go” mindset so students can enjoy their summer after they complete final exams.  In addition to registering early, VP Phillips encourages students to work with their academic advisor and identify the required classes to graduate on time.  It is important for students to earn 30 credit hours/year to graduate in four years.

All students are encouraged to utilize DegreeWorks to determine what classes are needed for degree completion.  Before registering for courses, admitted, degree seeking students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor. First-time students and new transfer students at the Lawton campus should contact the Academic Advising Center at 580-581-6741 to schedule an appointment. Students attending CU-Duncan should call 580-581-5950 for assistance with course registration. All other degree seeking students needing help with course selection should visit their AggieAccess account to identify their academic advisor.  If students know the courses needed for the summer and/or fall semester and have a valid PIN, they can register online on the appropriate date.  All non-degree seeking students should visit the Registrar’s Office to register for classes.

Cameron University offers many enrollment options that allow students to complete their degree while working full-time or raising a family.  We invite you to learn more by calling the Welcome Center at 580-581-2987 to schedule a visit to campus.

Summer 2018 semester classes begin on Wednesday, May 30, and classes for the Fall 2018 semester begin on Monday, August 20.
