Fright Week is coming to Cameron University, with a series of community-friendly, spooktacular events that will be fun for the entire family! Sponsored by CU’s Programming Activities Council and the Office of Student Housing, Fright Week festivities will offer activities for all ages at no charge.
On Monday, October 29, it’s Haunted Housing, a zombie-themed excursion through Building C of Cameron Village. Even with zombies on the premises, Haunted Housing is appropriate for even young children. Can Ole Kim outmatch the walking dead? Find out during Haunted Housing from 8 to 10 p.m.
On Tuesday, October 30, children of all ages are welcome at CU’s annual Halloween Carnival. This fun-filled event features numerous games and activities for kids, as well as a safe place to trick or treat. You never know what you’ll see at the Halloween carnival – pirates, vampires, princesses and more are sure to abound! Bring your costumed cuties to the Aggie Rec Center between 6 and 8 p.m. to join the festivities.
On Thursday, November 1, it’s time to banish the ghosts and ghouls for another year by enjoying some down-home cooking at the annual Goat Roast from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. CU’s Aggie Club will be out all day roasting a goat, a pig and who knows what else, and Sodexo will serve up some tasty accompaniments! Dinner is served on the Shepler Center lawn starting at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. – or until the food runs out!
