1. Students will set up and operate equipment commonly used in respiratory care procedures.

2. Students will demonstrate the ability to perform and evaluate common clinical respiratory procedures.

3. Students will identify structures of the respiratory system and recall their functions.

4. Students will recall information and apply logic to solve problems related to physical processes in our environment.

5. Students will assimilate information related to chemical processes and apply critical thinking strategies to draw reasoned conclusions based on that information. Instruction on how to apply critical thinking strategies will have been previously presented. A reasoned conclusion is a logical inference based on the available evidence or premises, accompanied by adequate exposition to demonstrate the steps by which that conclusion was reached.
