CHEM 1471 - General Chemistry II Lab

Course Information

Spring 2007

CHEM 1471 is the companion lab to the course CHEM 1474General Chemistry II. One must successfully complete both CHEM 1471 and CHEM 1474 to receive credit for either one.

The General Chemistry II course and lab are typically taken by chemistry, biology, and physics majors. This lab course provides an opportunity for students to apply and reinforce topics learned in lecture, develop a safety awareness in the lab, and learn basic laboratory techniques. Experiments include titrations, thermochemistry, qualitative analysis, as well as others.

The laboratory meets for two hours per week and students receive 1 hour of credit for this course.
