Student Research Opportunities

Faculty typically receive information regularly about opportunities for students to take part in summer research activities throughout the nation.  This list will contain brief information about programs of which I am aware.  To learn more, simply click on the Link to Site link in the right-hand column of each row.

I encourage you to consider applying.  You gain valuable experience, build confidence, learn new things, see different parts of the country, and even get paid to do all of this.  By the way, STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and may be found at several campuses.
