Four Cameron University graphic design students have been selected as finalist for the first-ever National Student Show and Conference, sponsored by the Dallas Society of Visual Communications.
The finalists are Danielle Davis, junior graphic design major; Melanie Barfield, senior graphic design major; Anastassia Menchikova, junior graphic design major and Silas Knight, junior graphic design major, all from Lawton.
This is the fourth year of CU graphic design program and while the students have won awards in Oklahoma, this will be their first national show.
"I'm thrilled and very proud of all my students,” said Elizabeth Tilak, graphic design professor. “I consider my job as a teacher not only to facilitate learning but to help these students get as many opportunities as possible, so ultimately they become more marketable.”
