In 2011, CU's Comanche Battalion was recognized as 3rd BEST ROTC UNIT IN THE NATION (out of 273 universities) by The Order of Founders and Patriots Organization.

Mission Statement

 The Cameron University Comanche Battalion will recruit, contract, train, retain, develop and commission qualified and motivated students; preparing them for the challenge of leadership as commissioned officers in the United States Army.
