CU: What did your job process look like after school? Was it rather difficult to find one?
Christopher: No, I did an internship with the company I first worked with. They ended up giving me the Project Engineering position.
CU: Do you think school prepared you for your first job, or was it more "on the job" training?
Christopher: I think school helped me learn to critically think through a problem, but I do not think a specific class or group of classes prepared me for the specific job. I think it was more on the job learning.
CU: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Christopher: Owning my own innovations company, and owning real estate.
CU: What advice would you give to current students?
Christopher: Don't do a major for the money, I have a ton of friends that did it for the money and hate it and are now $50,000 - $70,000 in student debt. Figure out what you love to do and then figure out a way to make a living off of that! If it requires college or not. You don't have to go to college to be successful, but some fields require college.
