Representatives from all three Sooner Select health plans will be available to answer your questions, explain benefits, and help you make an informed decision. Remember, you must meet certain eligibility requirements to enroll in Sooner Select, but don't worry - we'll have a community health worker on-site to screen attendees and see if you qualify. They'll also be available to assist with the sign-up process, so you can begin your enrollment right there at the event. Community Health Worker, Mobility Manager, & RX for Oklahoma on Campus

@ Library

The Student Enrichment Center (SEC) has partnered with the District 5 Health Department to bring a Community Health Worker to our campus. The Community Health Worker will be on campus the following Wednesdays: Feb. 5, March 5 (rescheduled to March 12), April 2 and May 7. This initiative aims to provide you with valuable health resources and support just when you need it. Appointments will be conducted face-to-face in a private conference room. These sessions are open to all students and walk-ins are welcome. Whether you have questions about nutrition, mental health, general wellness, or anything else related to your health, our expert will be here to help.

Also on site will be our Lawton Mobility Manager, who can help with transportation assistance, local transit information, and mobility planning for community resources.

Additionally, Debra from the SWOK Community Action Agency out of Altus will be on site to introduce the RX for Oklahoma program, a free service that helps Oklahoma residents pay for long-term prescription medications. It helps people who are uninsured, underinsured, or low income.

Other free resources you can get connected with here are WIC, SNAP, food pantries, SoonerCare (Medicaid), clothing, utilities, housing, employment and more.

An appointment can be scheduled outside this monthly timeframe by contacting the SEC.
