CU: Do you think school prepared you for your first job, or was it more "on the job" training?

Michael: Yes I would say school gives you the theoretical knowledge you need to understand, so that when your job is training you they don’t have to start at zero with you.

CU: How much do you like your job pertaining to work-life balance?

Michael: I worked in the oil field at the start of my career working 30 days on and 5 days off. At Leidos I work 8AM to 5PM and home with my family every night. So I like my work life balance a lot more now!

CU: What advice would you give to current students?

Michael: Land an internship every summer. This will give you real world experience and make you stand out as a student for any company once you graduate.
