The Fitness Court® accommodates a variety of skill levels and abilities at each station, from beginner to expert. Each movement area allows users to leverage their bodyweight at different angles and levels of resistance as a tool to improve their fitness over time. The Fitness Court® is integrated with shock-resistant sports flooring and supports functional fitness movements that allow for up to 28 individuals to use the Court at the same time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, activity courses for one-credit utilizing the Fitness Court will be offered periodically. Activity courses will be listed under current course offerings in AggieAccess.

Yes. The Fitness Court is open to the public when not in use by Cameron University.

No. The Fitness Court is free and open to public when not in use by Cameron University.

Yes. The Fitness Court has been designed to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. There is an ADA accessible ramp located on the northeast side of the court.

Users must be 16 years or older.

The Fitness Court is open 24/7, year round. We advise that you use caution when elements may be hot, wet or icy. We do not recommend using the Fitness Court under extreme weather conditions.

No. Only approved Cameron University personnel are able to reserve the Fitness Court at this time. 

The maximum number of people permitted on the court is 28 individuals; however, number of participants may be lower due to type of class being offered. 

No. This will damage the structure.

No. This will damage the structure and not safe for use on the Fitness Court.

No. Per CU policy only service animals (not therapy animals) are permitted. Owner is responsible for cleaning up after pets.
