Cameron University thanks active duty, guard and reserve service members, veterans and their families for their selfless service to our nation. Who are we?
Cameron has created a military-inclusive community and our faculty and staff are comprised of veterans, reservists, military spouses and military family members. At Cameron we take the whole student approach and we have opportunities for the military community that include a VA work-study program, a Tragedy Assistance Program for survivors, focus groups to assist in improving VA educational benefit offerings, free admission for active-duty members and $1 admission for Veterans to all university sporting events, an active Student Veterans of America chapter, military-related service projects, social events and Veterans cords for graduating students.

Cameron University is the first VetSuccess Campus in Oklahoma. The 2021 Military Times “Best for Vets: Colleges" ranked Cameron third in the State of Oklahoma and 125th in the nation overall. Cameron University is a participant of the Yellow Ribbon Program through the US Department of Military Affairs for waiving the remaining tuition not covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill® for eligible students.
