The Office of Teaching and Learning maintains several offices whose primary function is to help students succeed academically.
ACADEMIC ADVISING CENTER
The Academic Advising Center provides academic advising for newly admitted and first-year students and for students with academic deficiencies. AAC advisors are available to counsel first-year students regarding course selection, degree plans, choice of major, and course adds and drops. They are also available to help direct students to appropriate campus resources.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
A federally-funded TRIO program, Student Support Services offers intensive academic support services for eligible first-generation, low-income, and disabled students. The program provides mentoring, academic advising, and tutoring for eligible students, along with a variety of cultural enrichment activities.

TESTING CENTER
Need help with placement testing, CU online testing, or specialized testing such as CLEP, DSST, or the residual ACT?
Cameron University’s Testing Center provides a range of testing services, including initial placement testing, CLEP testing, TOEFL testing, proctored online testing, and proctored remote testing for students from other campuses.
