Information on Library Instruction Selections
Librarians provide customized group library instruction upon request. Librarians offer in-person instruction in our classroom or, if you prefer, we will teach remotely via Zoom. The librarians can also travel off campus to teach, if noted on the request form.
Please provide as much advance notice as possible when scheduling the instruction.

Embedding a librarian into your course allows for students to become more familiar with the library, and its resources. It also extends access to a librarian for a semester, allowing for more tailored and personal experiences.
The involvement of the librarian in the course is up to the faculty member.
Examples of involvement include:
- Establishing “virtual office hours” so students can visit and ask questions.
- Collaborating on research projects.
- Pre-designing research activities and assessments.
- Creating research guides specifically for your class.
All requests for an Embedded Librarian must be made prior to the first day of the Semester.
Please email kahall@cameron.edu to start the process.
