Cameron University’s Dr. Matt Jenkins will premiere his latest feature film, “Rage, Fear, Love,” on Monday, February 13, at Lawton’s Vaska Theater. The movie will start at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Employers interested in recruiting talented students, alumni and community members are encouraged to participate in Cameron University’s Red River Career Expo. The annual job fair is slated for Thursday, March 9, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Aggie Rec Center on the CU campus. Employers from all career fields are encouraged to register.

Homecoming activities geared to alumni are slated for Friday, February 10, and Saturday, February 11.
Members of the public are invited to the annual ceremony kicking off Black Heritage Month in Lawton-Fort Sill. Cameron University will host the ceremony at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex, located at University Drive and D Avenue. Parking is available across from the facility.
Cameron University has announced the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the Fall 2022 semester. To make the President’s Honor Roll, undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time (carrying at least 12 hours of classes) and maintain a straight A average (4.0). The Dean’s Honor Roll requires a B average (3.00-3.99).
Cameron University has set room and board rates for the 2023-24 academic year. Approved by the Board of Regents for the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University, the new rates will be effective August 1, 2023.
Cameron University’s Visiting Writer’s Series continues on Friday, January 27, with novelist, essayist and poet Jason Poudrier. The author will read samples of his work starting at 7 p.m. in the Buddy Green Room of the McMahon Centennial Complex.
Cameron University has filled the post of environmental health and safety officer with John Young, who joined the staff in July 2019 following his retirement from the U.S. Army. During his tenure in the military, Young’s duties included acting as a battalion safety officer.
