Check it Out Books

With the rising cost of textbooks, Cameron University has implemented the "Check It Out Books " program which makes textbooks for all of Cameron's general education classes and most popular courses available for check out in the Cameron Library.

During the first week of classes for the Fall Semester, visit the Library website and search for the book title to see what is available

Emergency Loan Program

Cameron University realizes that life happens to you while you are busy being students. This program, funded by the Cameron University Foundation, Inc., is available to students who have an unexpected financial emergency that hinders their ability to continue to attend classes. Whether it is an unexpected home repair issue, car trouble or medical bills, this program provides you with a short term loan to assist with an unexpected expense and allows you to continue their path to degree completion.

Loans of a maximum $250 amount are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, print off the application here, fill out the form and submit it to the Business Office in the Administration Building, Room 101.

Support for Military Spouses

Cameron University participates in the Military Spouse Career Advancement Portal Financial Assistance Program. Under this program, spouses of active duty military and activated guard or reserve members may receive financial assistance to pursue a degree in a "portable career" as determined by the program requirements.

The Department of Defense has made changes to the program. Students are encouraged to visit the MyCAA website for the latest information regarding new requirements and important deadlines.
