STUDENT OFFICE ASSISTANT - OFFICE OF TEACHING & LEARNING
POSITION
The Office of Teaching and Learning is seeking a Student Office Assistant. This position is for the Fall 2020 semester, at a maximum of 20 hours per week. Hours will be flexible according to your class schedule and will depend on the needs of the office. Responsibilities include processing university forms, copying, filing, correspondence, making on-campus deliveries, greeting students and other visitors to the office and by telephone, and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; have good oral and written communication skills; organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. Also, applicant must be able to answer the phone in a clear, professional manner and adhere to a strict policy of confidentiality. The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong preference will be given to those students with a solid academic record; a minimum GPA of 3.0 is a plus. Also, availability to work over the lunch hour.
