The Human Resources Department is looking for a Student Assistant to join the team. The position is available for the spring semester. Duties will include, but are not limited to, filing, entering computer data, copying, shredding, greeting visitors, answering phone calls and assisting with various projects, as assigned. Position days and hours are flexible.
TUTOR
The Cameron Tutoring Center is seeking new tutors. Hours are flexible and depend on your class schedule. Tutor may work up to 20 hours per week. Duties include working closely with students to provide both face-to-face and virtual assistance with various aspects of the writing process, keeping accurate records of tutoring sessions, maintaining files, answering the telephone, responding to emails, and scheduling. The tutor facilitates learning as a guide and coach to assist students in becoming successful, independent learners.
STUDENT OFFICE ASSISTANT - OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
The Office of Public Affairs is seeking a Student Office Assistant able to work 10-20 hours per week during regular office hours (Mon-Fri between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, taking accurate and thorough messages, assembling and delivering printed materials, updating the email and online calendar, and clipping and filing newspaper articles.
STUDENT WORKER - PRINTING SERVICES
Printing Services at Cameron University’s Lawton Campus is seeking is a Student Worker who is able to work 15 -20 hours per week. Duties include, but not limited to: Heavy Lifting. Operate digital equipment. Operate and drive a golf cart.
Deliver printed jobs and paper to departments on campus. Stock and organize paper shelves. Maintain clean work areas and floors.
STUDENT DISTANCE LEARNING FACILITATOR
The Duncan Campus is currently looking for a qualified individual to serve as Student Distance Learning Facilitator for up to 20 hours per week. The Student Distance Learning Facilitator will work directly with the Distance Learning Coordinator and office staff to perform a variety of tasks to ensure an optimum learning environment for all students and faculty in the Distance Learning Classrooms.
Duties include, but are not limited to, handling technical issues and supporting students and faculty/staff in the distance learning classes as well as in the computer lab. Students must be punctual, dependable and motivated to assure that all technical issues are addressed in a timely manner.

The Office of Student Housing and Residence Life at Cameron University is seeking a reliable and motivated Housing Office Assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year. This position is contingent upon available funding and will involve a variety of administrative and customer service tasks essential to the smooth operation of the housing office.

This position will help with basic building maintenance and grounds upkeep on the university’s Ellsworth, Home Farm, Duncan and Lawrence properties and Community Garden. Most of the time will be spent outside in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
